The AAMJ is a journal that serves as a forum for the exchange and dissemination of knowledge and experiences in agribusiness and agri-food marketing.
The AAMJ was designed to study the characteristics and functioning of agri-industrial systems worldwide, the journal critically examines issues in the food business chain prevalent in different parts of the globe, using a systemic and intercultural/national approach to explain the various facets of food marketing and consumer behavior.
The journal aims to be a reference for all those involved in the planning and implementation of food marketing policies and practices, such as food sector companies, departments, agencies, and governmental food institutions, as well as financial institutions and monetary agencies.
The publications seek to integrate academics, researchers, professionals, and consultants in Food Marketing, Agricultural Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Food Science, and Nutrition.
The AAMJ accepts submissions that employ experimental, meta-analysis articles, theoretical, computational or innovative methodological approaches, prioritizing the originality and potential impact of the presented results.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons license. This license was developed to facilitate open access—that is, immediate, free access and unrestricted reuse of original works of all types.
All articles are peer-reviewed, and publication criteria are based on high ethical standards. Our journal also features Special Issues (Thematic Collections) and Supplementary Issues (Full Articles derived from Conference Proceedings).
Submission Categories
Modality 1: Communications (Short articles, Experience reports, Scientific notes, Bibliographic or documentary reviews)
Modality 2: Full Technical Articles (Scientific Research Articles, Meta-Analysis Articles, and Theoretical Articles) - see Submission Guidelines.
Modality 3: Publication of Abstracts and Extended Abstracts in Proceedings of Congresses, Seminars and Events.

The AAMJ endeavors to maintain an average period of approximately four months between manuscript submission and article publication.
The AAMJ is strategically and consistently committed to establishing its presence in the most prestigious international indexing platforms. To achieve this, articles are published in HTML, XML-JATS, and PDF formats.
The AAMJ promotes inclusivity by offering a translation plugin to make articles accessible to readers with disabilities.
